Storybook Trail at Melbourne Zoo

Join FOTZ volunteers on a search for animals featured in popular children's books. When we find an animal we're looking for, we'll read the book and go on a hunt for some special things. Then we'll continue the hunt for our next animal. At the end of our trail each child will receive a small gift of thanks for coming along. Suitable for ages 4-8 and a fee applies.

FOTZ Christmas Party at Melbourne Zoo

With around 3,000 members attending - this is the biggest FOTZ event of the year. Featuring children's entertainment such as; clowns, magicians, fairies, stilt walkers, and the most important guest of all, Santa. All children receive a gift and adults can BYO food for a picnic, or can enjoy the Zoo-B-Cue available. Tea, coffee, cordial, shortbread and Christmas cake are also provided. This activity is suitable for all ages and a fee applies.

Kids Activities at Healesville

We offer a range of fun and exciting family activities throughout the year. These range from 'early morning breakfasts' in the warmer months to 'spotlighting' in the winter. We also offer a range of fun days with visits behind the scenes, special activities for both the younger and older children. Come along and join us for a new 'Bush experience'.

Kids Activities at Werribee Open Range Zoo

FOTZ offers a range of activities for kids at Werribee Open Range Zoo. Our popular Okavango African breakfast and our Trivia Trail are just two of the great activities that both educate and help our younger members have lots of fun at the zoo.
